Where were you going with that smile so wide,
was it just that new hairstyle that made your face look fuller?
You were glowing, with cheeks flushed and full cherry lips.
Did you paint them that way for a special person?
I liked those red shoes with that stileto heel that clicked and clacked , they drew attention to
those beautiful feet as you skipped along the cobbled stones. The same colore was also in that dress you wore, I remember thinking how tall it made you look, so elegant and classy with the fringed shawl draped over those fine boned shoulders. You had such smooth soft and satin skin.

Did you see how you turned heads that day?
your beauty was unsurpassed. You hid your face behind those long slender, painted nails as you tried not to giggle with excitement. Every now and then those white teeth, so perfect and straight would flash between the glistening smile.
My heart filled with joy and my head swelled with pride.
Your laugh filled my soul with contentment and love. What more could any human being have asked for?

I asked to spend my life with you and envisioned so many happy years as man and wife.
We were supposed to grow old together.
I promised you the world and would happily have given you the moon.
When God took you home it shook me to the spine. Emptiness engulfed me and wounded my heart. I still bare the scars, it will never fully heal.
