ok maybe i exaggerated a bit about the PS kitkat
tho it has been mentioned a couple of times.
The pal room we use on a friday is a good buzz
theres people who dont use forums at all
and a few from the buds and other boards.
most of the time its a good laff an we all have a good time.
my mate and i also have a room-Happy daze
which is opened a few times a week. :chap

We use the old euro board in aol to meet up some yers ago but more that 2 years when the child of England went missing in PDL, of Portugal we stop use of. The board become the MACAN board and we wer having not any interest in that affair.
Besides of the European boards closed now. Only the boards of the USA are broadcasting . Even so I take no interest in the AOL Free Public boards. I prefer of a moderated board where abuse is no exist!

I did not see any AOL people in Buddies palroom, in fact I did not see Buddies palroom open for long time. I think Jimmy is talking about a nother rooms 2?
What is PS? Is Playstation?

You boys make me laugh. Jimmy is on about the chatroom on pal that he uses. I think Jimmy is a friend of the owner. He also has a room himself there on pal too. He's not talking of the buddies pal room. HAHAHARRRRrrrrrr you pair get yourselves muddled up and end up confusing the rest of us!

I used to live here and on the webmall board but I only live on here nowadays. There isnt enough time to live on more than one. Mind, I am only online a few times a week anyway. I have read on that Aol board but never "moved in". I thought the trolls all left because it was peaceful last time i looked. G2G Decorators are in this afternoon. I am having the whol place redone before the festive season begins. It's exhausting choosing colour schemes ;) .

jesus ,the room we use on a friday is called ,
'europe board friends which u can find in the europe section
on the main paltalk room list.
the other room that i co own with my mate scott
is called 'Happy daze an chillin ways ,
which is in 'conversation in the adult section.

2###Can you be called a Troll if you own a board or a blog that you actually post on.
There is a lot of confusion in my opinion and I would appreciate you clearing this up for me.

hey there kitkat.
looks like its down to me to explain this to you seeings as there are no Admin around tonight.
ok on the off there are two types of troll. Human and bot .
A Bot troll
is a programme used to undertake multiple tasks. Some good some bad. Search engines and isp's use Forum or Board bots to help run them or to forage for keywords to help internet users find part search words, to offer internet users choices.
Bad bots can be used to create spam by running their advertizing through message boards. They multiply ads that can sometimes flood boards, also they create names to join boards, easily recohnized because they are stupid! names like viagaraccc898333 or pharmacyyyyyydrkjasd77 to name two examples. They locate peoples names or emails and flood their inboxes with offers of this is spam. So always hide your email address on a melssage board or forum.

Human Trolls
We dont seem to attract any in here thank goodness but there are some unmoderated boards who unfortunately cannot rid themselves of them.
It is a misconception that if you use profanities on a board that you are a troll. Many people use bad language when becoming irate and such and so that does not make you a troll. It sure makes you an unpleasant poster yes, but troll no.
Another misconception is that ALL trolls flame and bait. Some do of course these are the among the worse type IMH. SOME post controversial threads and then hot tail it out of there leaving the users to get all riled up and upset with each other. The troll may return later and add fuel to the flames if the heat cools down. This will cause the average Joe to become aggresive thus the other posters will turn on the AJ and perhaps attack him and in some cases even call HIM the troll. You may notice the original thread poster throwing in a lol or a snigger for good measure.
This type of troll can also be found doing what is known as a twisty.
A twisty troll is somone who twists words around constantly, like as tho they misread a post. That happens to us all but these guys do it constantly.
An example dolly hates queenie and when queenie posts : im glad that gay lord peter smith lost his home. Dolly the twisty troll chips in with. OH you wish all gays to be homeless do you and then other board troublemakers will join in untill its twisted around to, Queenie is a nasty biatch that hates gays and wished they all lived on the streets.
This twisty troll, is tiresome and leaves posters exasperated so that some give up and leave. They use it to also bully. Similar tactics, twist the words untill the board turns against the victim and the victim leaves. Twisty trolls will sit and wait until they read something that can be twisted around to turn in their own favor also, making them look oh so good.
Troll behaviour can be baiting, flaming or bullying etc. Bullies are TROLLS - end of - and should be ignored as what they do can cause serious emotional harm to a more fragile user. Some Bullies work in groups or board gangs. these are the control freaks who want to have a board run in their way. They want recognition for being a top poster or the poster with the biggest brain, or biggest heart or in fact recognized for anything -something!! if not they turn quite nasty and will set out to destroy the board peace and harmony, but in a sneaky way that will always leave themselves coming up smelling of roses.

Can you troll on your owned board No, can you troll on your owned blog No!
Its your own board or blog so you are the boss. If a board owner or blog owner goes to another board and posts there then they could be a trolling then I guess. But you cannot call a blogger or a board owner a troll if they post only on their own board or blog. It would be impossible even if they constantly bad mouthed your board..... If for example:: I own a board and i visit someone elses board and cause trouble then I am trolling. If I am a reg poster on board A, and then go to board B and create havok I am then a Troll. Any board owners worth their salt. will warn their members that this is unacceptable behaviour

Clones

SOMEONE who clones anothers screen name with the SOLE purpose
of trolling. Names can be identical almost and not be what's termed as a clone. If Bobby1 and bobbyl are both on a board and are seen as fair and decent posters who do not pretend to be each other alls fine. But if Bobby1 disliked bobbyl and cloned the name for the sole intent of bad mouthing other members, for using troll behaviour in such a way as to mislead members into thinking he was in fact bobby1 then that is a clone. Having the same name almost as another user does not make you a clone. We have many people here with similar names, Cat and Kat, Jesus and Jesus 1963 , numerous versions of angel . They are not trolls. I used to be knwn as the Terminator back in the days ha ha. Other users saw that name and wanted it, so there was turminator terminater1 terminater etc. No biggy, they were not clones!. So ok. A CLONE IS A USER WHOSE SOLE INTENT IS TO MISLEAD. They are easy to spot usually because they troll....some advice ....If you see a name similar to someone you know and they are being nasty or cruel then its a cloned named troll. Ignore it. you see a name similar to someone you know and they appear to be posting normally and without undue aggression then they are simply a user with a similar name.
If you are on a private board the Staff may ask you to change your username slightly to avoid confusion or add a siggy indicating your individuality. On a open, free for all, come as you are board, then you can do nothing at all apart from politely saying thru email or IM, escuse me but we have already a user called bobby1 so could you perhaps use a siggy to let others know that you and he are not the same person? Or if you yourself are a troll, you can do what trolls do, bully and beat the poster down until they leave.

I could go on forever here KitKat discussing the who's what's and why's of trolls and board etiquette, in fact, most definitions that you will find on the internet were written by myself!! of course chinese whisper syndrome means that some folk will twist the definitions around for their own ends. But it's all goooood. Thats life on the net.

Too many people who think they know it all yell clone at the first moment they see a name that could possibly be linked to someone else KitKat. It's pathetic.
See here at the buddies we have a "Kat" and an "Anakaren" then we have "KatteKaren" and that is perfectly acceptable, but on a paranoid ridden un-modded board. insecure or control freak types would be screaming kill the clone ROFLMAO.
I remember about two years ago I registered on a Film Buff forum in the name i'm using now right and got my application to join turned down, all due to the Admin whose real name was Martine, and whose board id was Cruella de ville! catgrin"~
