What a good idea !!

I've been rummaging around the 'flea market' in Puerto Banus today-happy hours spent ferkling through stall after stall of what is mostly tat brought over from Nth Africa.
Loads of fake everything and clothes which are guaranteed to fall apart after being worn once-
but what the heck, the sun shone, I met a chum and we grabbed lunch outside on stools so tall I needed a 'leg up' to get on board and faced the prospect of a very inelegant dismount!
We people watched and laughed a lot.....a good Saturday.

I once had a gold (coughs) Cartier watch from one of those markets. Worked for ages but eventually left a nasty green ring around my wrist. Ah well, I could look and feel posh for a few months ay

I bought a "Rolex" in China Mel-it cost me the equivalant of £1 and it worked perfectly
for 4 years !! I got it for my grandson thinking he would laugh...he didn't so I gave it to
my hairdresser instead-he always denied it was fake, even to me LOL.

i hate going into a restaurant with those tall stools. God was not gracious with me in the height category and that's where the kids always wanna sit. lol

He didn't hand me much 'tallness' out either Diana.........but other than when fighting
to look cool whilst shuffling to get on high stools- I rather enjoy being a littley !!

SLOB SUNDAY - Always a delicious day, get up late take brekkie back to eat in bed and have a
snuggle. Pop out and buy piles of Sunday Nonews papers and generally chill.

Yesterday I started swimming after five weeks forced inactivity, so today I swam again-
the pool has gone from warm bath to cold shower so I guess autumn is here even in Spain-I
managed only half of what I used to do, disastrous, and with all the agility of an ancient walrus
rather than a streamlined seal - perhaps I should abandon attempts at fitness and resume my recent couch potato life !

no no don't get sucked into the couch potato life. then you get all emotional crying over sappy romantic movies and eating ice cream. lol

Heck sounds an inviting prospect hey Diana? Emotional over Sappy romantic movies--big fat NO !
But eating ice cream, strange you should say that, when I was unwell I ate two tubs of Hagen
Daz! never liked ice cream before, so that's a life changing maybe !!

LOL maybe.

i'm watching Dirty Dancing. i'm gonna be crying my eyes out soon. i know it's not a sad movie but oh it is at the moment.

Now now ladies ,
you can be a part time couch potato u know.
or in my case,
'a big comfy chair potato'.

I get to be a couch potato for at least two hours , every second weekend lol lol lol.
